Terms of use and sale

These terms govern the use of caniedu.com and the purchase of the Caniedu course. The seller is identified on the seller page. Buying means accepting what is written here; if any part of it does not suit you, do not buy, and if you already did, the refund page gives you the way out.

1. Who can buy

You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract. The course is for the owner of a dog and for the people who live with that dog.

2. What you are buying

A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to watch the recorded lessons and download the printable material of the plan you paid for, with no time limit. You are not buying ownership of the material and you are not buying a service performed for you.

3. What the licence does not allow

Reselling, renting, sharing the access link, uploading the lessons anywhere, showing them in paid classes of your own, or presenting the method as yours. Details and consequences are on the intellectual property page.

4. When the contract exists

When the payment is confirmed by Stripe and we send you the access link. Before that, nobody owes anybody anything. You receive an electronic confirmation immediately, as Decree 7.962/2013 requires.

5. Price and payment

The price of each plan is shown in full, in the currency of the site you are on, before you pay. There is no subscription, no renewal and no charge you did not press a button for. Payment conditions are on the payments page.

6. Delivery

Immediate and online. How it reaches you, and what to do if it does not, is on the delivery page.

7. Cancelling

Seven days in Brazil, fourteen days in the European Union, thirty days for everyone under our own guarantee. The exact rules, including the one about digital content delivered immediately, are on the refunds page.

8. What the course is not

It is education, not a veterinary or clinical service. Read the limits page before starting, especially if your dog has bitten someone.

9. Your access

Access is tied to your purchase, not to a password. Keep the link private. If the same access is being used by many different people at once, we may close it and, if that happens, you can ask for the purchase back.

10. Changes to the course and to these terms

Lessons may be re-recorded, corrected or added; anything added to a module you own is included at no extra cost. If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new date and applies to purchases made after that date. Your purchase is governed by the version in force on the day you bought.

11. Availability

We do not promise the site is never down. If the course were discontinued, buyers would be told and given the files to download and keep.

12. Liability

Nothing here removes the liability that consumer law imposes on the seller, and nothing here removes your right to claim for a defect in what you bought. What we do not accept is liability for what a dog does: training is done by you, in your home, with your animal.

13. Law and jurisdiction

Brazilian law applies, and the courts of the consumer's own domicile are competent, as article 101 of the Brazilian Consumer Code provides. Consumers resident in the European Union keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
